The short answer is no you don't. I understand how expensive instruments can be, especially if you just want to try it out and aren't sure you'll stick to it. So although I would encourage getting one as soon as you can, it is not an essential for the first few lessons as I bring a guitar with me which you can use while I am there.

Certainly! I encourage and teach all ages to learn instruments of any kind. I have a vast experience teaching 6 year olds, to teaching people in their 50's and from what i've seen it is never too late to start.

It is never too young to start learning and experimenting with musical instruments. You are the best judge and If you feel your child is ready to start learning guitar or bass, then I am more than happy to teach.

You don't need to worry about travel as I make the journey to you, teaching from the comfort of your own home. This makes it much more accessible, means you don't have to worry about rushing around and I have found, puts the students at ease a lot more when trying a new skill.

My prices for all instruments are the same, starting at £15 for 30 minutes and £25 for 1 hour.

To put it short, I believe you should choose Roots To Riffs because, I take the stress out of traveling somewhere for your lesson by travelling to you, my prices are competitive, I have a wide range of experience teaching all ages, demographics and abilities how to play and write music, I am always available to chat if you have any concerns or questions, I am flexible with lesson times, you pay per lesson and so you never have to feel committed or pay if you need to miss a week or two, I am very attuned and excel in adapting to suit the requirements of the student, and I have wrote, played, and performed with various bands all over the country since I was 11.

From Monday to Friday my working hours are 3:30pm - 8:00pm, and on Saturday I teach all day.
